Snowmaking brings it back around

Snowmaking brings it back around…

When you see a snow maker … Thank him for his great work!
The Northeast continues to challenge us with changing conditions, everyday is different. We know that’s what makes us great skiers! Sunday we went up to Killington expecting icing and rain and firm sliding, and instead we got warm, 2-3 inches of soft, spring like cream cheese. There was an inversion with a noticeably cold cloud at the base of Needles Eye, and the mid mountain of Superstar quad was beautiful skiing. We did several runs on Skylark and Bittersweet, upper Ovation was great and, believe it or not Vertigo was soft and totally edge able.
Now we have some very firm conditions with everything frozen solid. The mountain will work hard making snow to get the best cover possible with the cold snap this week.
Remember our motto:
You never know unless you go, and it’s always better than you think!
