Our nicest kayaks are by Hurricane, they are polycarbonate and average 10 lbs lighter than most roto molded plastic boats, have a sleek design, and cruise through the water quickly and efficiently. They are especially great for women who want to load their own boat on the roof of their car by themselves! We also have a BIG selection of recreational plastic boats for 'light, small' women and children to 'Big, tall, and extra large' men. It's all about the size and fit.
We carry flatwater kayaks by Hurricane, Perception, and Wilderness Systems. Whether you are a woman looking to load her own boat and paddle local small lakes and ponds or have plans to do adventures on big waters, such as Lake Champlain or the ocean, both Peter and JoAnn have attended 'Rough Water Ocean Kayak School' out of Peaks Island, Maine, and have 20 plus years of paddling experience. We can choose the right boat for you!
We also sell all the paddles, PFD's (life vests) dry bags, fishing rod holders and paddling accessories needed for a fun day on the water.
We carry Lightweight Backpacking and Camping Gear. Packs by Osprey, Tents and Sleeping Bags by Mountain Hardwear, along with lots of camping accessories like Thermarest Sleeping Pads, freeze dried food, lightweight MSR stoves, and cooking utensils.

We spend our summers on the water paddling and sailing and hiking the Green Mountains and the Adirondacks, and our winters in the mountains backcountry, telemark and 'AT' skiing. We try to specialize in just those activities.
