Brisk cold nights are here, and they have been making snow up on the mountain, to test the pipes and be ready for the next break in the weather. Won’t be long before we get a 4-5 day stretch that will allow them to really lay down enough for skiing. We skied October 15th last year!
Time to get out and enjoy the foliage, hike a mountain, and get ready for the uphill climbs! The scenery doesn’t get much better than this. This has been an exceptional year for great color at elevation. Ski season will be upon us before we know it, and our legs will be screaming for mercy. Anything you can do now will make it a little easier to get through those first runs… Even though we’ll be so excited we won’t mind a bit. Killington will be open soon!
